Platinum Crown by Mikasa

Platinum Crown Fine China by Mikasa

Platinum Crown Available Directly from Mikasa — Introduced in 2002. Tasteful and timeless, the Platinum Crown collection is appropriate for holidays or more formal dining occasions. Made of fine china that has been fired at high temperatures, this dinnerware is an antique bone white featuring a platinum border etched with a regal crown motif and a thinner platinum ring encircling each piece about an inch from its edge. The simplicity of this pattern allows it to be paired easily with most styles of crystal and flatware for a complete table setting. The platinum rim on this pattern makes it not safe for use in the microwave. Hand wash only. Accent your place settings with pieces from Platinum Crown Cobalt or Platinum Crown Slate collection.

A five-piece place setting of Platinum Crown includes: 10¾-inch dinner plate, 8¼-inch salad plate, 10-ounce rim soup bowl and 10-ounce tea cup and 6½-inch saucer. The collection is available in: 40-Piece Set (8 place settings).

When it comes to finding Mikasa that is difficult to find in stores near you, one of your best resources for acquiring the items you want are sites like Amazon, Etsy, Replacements and eBay, where there are a lot of wonderful finds still in the original boxes. We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.

Please Note: Not all Mikasa is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations should not be used in a microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?
