Moonstone Fine China by Nikko

A mottled gray edge band on Moonstone brings to mind black-and-white photographs of the moon's surface, only this fine white porcelain gleams with platinum trim. At regular intervals, the thin platinum line that describes the gray band extends into the white verge with loops, like flourishes made with a fountain pen. Each set of loops is paired with an S-curved platinum scroll that lies on top of the gray band. The overall effect of Moonstone is one of decorum tempered by imagination, a pattern likely to suit those who enjoy entertaining but don't take life too seriously. The platinum trim on this pattern means it is not safe for use in the microwave. May be occasionally cleaned in a dishwasher, but washing by hand will help preserve the lustrous finish.

Nikko Moonstone (2741) was produced from 1999 to 2016. If you need replacement or additional pieces for your collection of Nikko Moonstone, monitor this page on a weekly basis for new listings.

When it comes to finding Nikko that is difficult to find in stores near you, one of your best resources for acquiring the items you want are sites like Amazon, Etsy, Replacements and eBay, where there are a lot of wonderful finds still in the original boxes. We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.

Please Note: Most Nikko is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations around the rim should not be used in your microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?

I am thrilled! There are many more recipes then I expected. I am very excited since my husband often works late and I end up with sandwiches rather then making myself something to eat.. —Barbara Andersen, New York
