Noritake Avalon is the name of three discontinued patterns. Noritake Avalon (5150) features purple flowers and was produced from 1950 to 1955. Noritake Avalon (3390) features blue roses and was produced from 1983 to 1990. There was also an earlier pattern produced around 1930. The gold trim on these patterns means they are not safe for use in the microwave.
