Country Diary by Noritake

This beautifully designed pattern is based on artwork created as a naturalist's diary in 1906 by Edith Holden. The artwork sat untouched in an English cottage attic but was discovered by a great niece of the artist and turned into a bestselling book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, that still delights today. The abundance of color in this porcelain casual pattern allows it to enhance any room or décor. While at first glance it may seem like a pattern suited for spring or summer, a different set of table linens can reflect the change of all seasons by focusing on a different color within the design.

An earlier version of this pattern was called Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and produced from 1982 to 1991. This version (9342) was produced from 2009 to 2012. If you need replacement or additional pieces for your collection of Noritake Country Diary, monitor this page on a weekly basis for new listings.

When it comes to finding Noritake that is difficult to find in stores near you, one of your best resources for acquiring the items you want are sites like Amazon, Etsy, Replacements and eBay, where there are a lot of wonderful finds still in the original boxes. We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.

Please Note: Not all Noritake is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations around the rim should not be used in your microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?
