Joanne Weir is many things: a chef, an award-winning cookbook author, a television personality, culinary teacher, collector of ceramics, world traveler, and most recently, restaurateur and Executive Chef of Copita Tequileria y Comida in Sausalito, California. Seen on public television's Weir Cooking in the City, Ms. Weir's newest American Public Television series is Joanne Weir’s Cooking Confidence. She has written several cookbooks, including the award-winning From Tapas to Meze: Small Plates from the Mediterranean.
In 2005, Joanne was excited to announce that a dream of hers had come true. She launched Weir in Your Kitchen, her own bakeware, dinnerware, and serveware collection that she designed with Pfaltzgraff. The pieces in this collection come in four Mediterranean-inspired colors (Cayenne, Chicory, Fennel and Ginger). The outside of each piece is embossed with an elegantly scrolled vine motif inspired by the vintage Italian pottery Joanne loves to collect.
Weir in Your Kitchen Bakeware is crafted of Pfaltzgraff's special "Prolumina" stoneware clay. It is unmatched in strength and durability.
Pfaltzgraff retired Ginger on December 31, 2006, and the remaining three patterns (Cayenne, Chicory and Fennel) on May 15, 2009. If you need replacement or additional pieces for your Pfaltzgraff Weir in Your Kitchen collection, monitor this page on a weekly basis for new listings.

Eventually, your item should show up for sale.
When it comes to finding Pfaltzgraff that is difficult to find in stores near you, one of your best resources for acquiring the items you want are sites like Amazon, Etsy, Replacements and eBay, where there are a lot of wonderful finds still in the original boxes. We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.
Please Note: Not all Pfaltzgraff is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations around the rim should not be used in your microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?
