Splash Brown by Sango
Garnish home cooked meals with something a little exotic — Sango's Splash collection imports a traditional Indonesian design to tables far from the equator for a lovely artisan presentation. In a medley of rich brown tones ranging from tawny ochre to creamy espresso to cinnamon chocolate, each piece showcases spiral brushstrokes and soft geometric accents "splashed" together in a natural yet well-balanced design. Three separate layers of matte and gloss glazes that incorporate subtle purple and blue shading add even deeper dimension for a tranquil nuanced mood. Because the pieces are crafted using reactive glazes, they stretch, speckle, and drip differently in the kiln, and each one develops its own variations that by itself makes a truly original work of art.
Bold enough for entertaining, Splash's simple, inviting shapes also make it comfortable for everyday dining. This collection is designed as a highly coordinated set with an extensive selection of dinnerware, bakeware, and accessories available; however, any piece would do just as nicely mingled with solid-color dinnerware that picks up one of the Splash hues. Crafted of durable stoneware with a lead-free finish. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

When it comes to finding Sango that is difficult to find in stores near you, one of your best resources for acquiring the items you want are sites like Amazon, Etsy and eBay, where there are a lot of wonderful finds still in the original boxes. We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.
Please Note: Not all Sango is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations should not be used in a microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?
