Wild Flower by Spode

Wild Flower by Spode

The Wild Flower was introduced around 1891. There are several versions of the pattern. It was also produced on toiletware like ewers, basins, chamber pots and soap dishes. The design is known as a sheet pattern. Originally the pattern was printed and then hand colored underglaze. This pattern was called Primular and when it was reintroduced as a plain print in 1997. The pattern returned as Florence in 1999 as a multicolored version with a pink background that should not be confused with another pattern of the same name. In 2000 another new version of the pattern was produced in blue and yellow and is called Blue Chintz.

Spode Wild Flower is no longer being produced. If you need replacement or additional pieces for your collection of Spode Wild Flower, monitor this page on a weekly basis for new listings.

We all receive those odd items as gifts that we have no need for and never use. Yet, one person's junk could be exactly the treasure you want.

Please Note: Not all Spode is safe for use in the microwave. Patterns with gold or platinum decorations around the rim should not be used in your microwave because microwaves can not pass through metal. If in doubt, use this simple test: Is this Utensil Safe for the Microwave?
