Villeroy & Boch Lina brings an uncomplicated everyday concept with a catchy and at the same time playful modern-vintage array of designs. The collection is remarkable for the ease of which you can create individual combinations: the perfectly coordinated colors and designs create the greatest possible freedom for tableware combinations with a very personal touch. At the same time, Lina is just right for those looking for typical vintage colors and designs in a contemporary interpretation — from the young singles’ household to the modern family home.
Lina is produced using a traditional, deliberately simple ceramic form against which the vibrant red, light blue, beige and pink are highlighted particularly vividly. The colors are combined with one another in three different designs. In the graphic grid there are soup plates with a decorated brim and white plate base and breakfast plates featuring full-surfaces in red, light blue and pink. Added to this are dinner plates and the saucers for the coffee and espresso cups in graduated designs, the brim of each rendered as graduated color in red, beige and light blue and edged with a narrow band of contrasting color: red with light blue, beige with light blue and light blue with red. The floral design is the most extensive, encompassing several pieces.
Lina permits a very playful and individual mix and match approach. With a vintage attitude, these modern and at the same time elegant colors and designs conjure up associations with lightness, youthfulness and freshness, bringing joie de vivre to the table and living area. The collection received a reddot design award honorable mention in 2013. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
