Anchor Hocking
Next time you bake the perfect cake, entertain in style, or hold a glass that fits your hand like a glove, take a look. It's probably Anchor Hocking Glass. A name millions of Americans reach for each day to beautify their homes. Brighten up your life with the American-made glassware products offered by Anchor Hocking.
Anchor Hocking, LLC’s predecessor companies began producing glass lamp chimneys in 1873. In 1905, the Hocking Glass Company was formed and became a manufacturer of plain and decorated, pressed, blown and machine made hotel, bar and kitchen tableware and glass novelties. The company became Anchor Hocking, Inc., in 1937. Monomoy Capital Partners acquired Anchor Hocking in 2007 and Oneida in 2011 and integrated both companies as EveryWare in March of 2012.
Visitors have previously arrived at this site looking for plastic items that Anchor Hocking used to manufacture. The company discontinued its line of plastic products around 2000 by selling the soft plastic line to a company called Home Products International, and the hard plastic line (microwaveable items) to Nordic Ware.
