Mushroom Omelet
Note: In this recipe, the omelet is cooked in a mixing bowl for convenience. For a browned omelet, heat 6" browning skillet for 1:00 minute (_____) at 100% power, pour in contents of mixing bowl, and cook 1:00 minute (_____) at 100% power until omelet sets.Place omelet on plate with slotted turner and serve.
1 oz. mushrooms
Brush or wash mushrooms clean and drain on paper towel. Slice and spread evenly on paper plate. Cover with paper towel. Cook 30 seconds (_____) at 100% power. Set aside.
1 extra-large egg or two small eggs
1 tbsp. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper
1 tsp. butter (optional)
Put egg, milk, salt, and pepper into 1-quart mixing bowl and beat well with wire whisk. Add butter and cooked mushrooms. Mix with rubber spatula. Cook 1:25 minutes (_____) at 100% w power until 1 tbsp. egg remains uncooked. Mix with rubber spatula and serve.
